Did you know it is free to list your Kegworth based business or organisation on this site?
Just turn up!!!
We are starting a new Judo Club at Kegworth Village Hall on Thursday Evenings from 6.30 to 8pm. Although new to Kegworth, the club has been running since 1996 at Castle Donington and Shepshed.
We moved the location from Castle Donington to Kegworth at the beginning of the New Year 2006 but at present continue to retain the old name as many of the youngsters still travel from Castle Donington to Kegworth. The Shepshed judo club ,still runs on Wednesday evening from 7pm to 8.30pm at Hind Leys School.
We offer a high degree of tuition and teaching from beginners all the way through to black belt and beyond . Both boys and girls are members of the club and we take any age from 8 upwards including parents. We tailor coaching to each individual child so that they progress at their own speed focusing on technique and fitness. The translation of the word Judo in Japanese is "Gentle Way" and that is what we focus on.
Often we have children and parents who wish to come and watch first, then perhaps progress to trying it themselves. There is no commitment so please come along if you are at all interested in finding out more.
